On the one had it is simply a cheap/budget/entry level economy car and on the other hand it just might be THE ABSOLUTE QUICKEST PRODUCTION CAR (barely production of course) EVER MADE (aka: the Hemi Dart) LOL.

Yup, I remember doing a quick/short distance burnout (no brakes, just punching it) once in my stock Valiant 318 in front of a bunch of other kids and one of them yelling out in total surprise "damn, did that Dart just do a burnout?!" LOL.

Back in '77 I briefly owned a '69 Dart 340 4 speed. The thing I remember most about that car was that it had a huge trunk. Bob

I had a 1970 340 Dart Swinger, fun car, was quick for what it had but was by far no real muscle car But since it was the 90's and most people my age (20's)had no idea what it was back in the day it was cool as hell. Had a bumble bee stripe and those two (fake) factory hood scoopes, I miss that car

So i like it when compared to the cars its going against i think its a great looking little car that will get 40 mpg and have a turbo option.Take away the fact that were all butt hurt over the name and its better then a jap car imo.

They've had the Chevy Lumina SS overseas for years. We just now get a rebranded Malibu rental car thats outdated before it even hits the streets...Some how still an improvement over the past buckets.
Most carbuyers probably dont even know/remember what an old Dart looks like.

As long as it does not have the 41TE transmission (or any trans based off of the 41TE), the Dart should be ok. If it does have a trans based off the 41TE, get read for trans failures left and right.
