Ford demanded GM pull the Silverado Superbowl ad..

Great commercial IMO.
IIRC GM asked Ford to pull the commercial of the guy in the interview commenting on not buying a car from a car company that took bail out money.
The manufacturers taking jabs at each other only benefits us the consumer even more; since they will release better cars and trucks to try and one up each other.

What I dont understand is Toyota sits on the side and constantly attacks both ford and GM and they NEVER hit back. That would of been a perfect opportunity to throw "toyota" or he drove an import ect ect. I understand that Ford is GMs main rival in trucks, but if Ford and GM start hitting back at the imports, thats more sales for both of them.

It could just be that neither one feels all that threatened (justifiably so) whatsoever by the Tundra LOL.
It's good to have their little internal rivalries now and then, but they both need to look at the bigger picture too.
Various sports teams compete within their own nation throughout the year but when it comes time to go to the World Championships or the Olympics those who were once rivals suddenly become loving and loyal teammates as well.
