That's why we'll always need LS1tech.com So...in that case, LONG LIVE MAGAZINES!

Cutouts hurt low end power...ok, who freakin' cares? I don't race at 2000 RPM (which is about the only place it might hurt you a little bit.)

That's a good one. If you are that worried about saving your trans, don't do any mods and don't race it. In fact, just park it in your garage, sit in it and make fun engine noises with your mouth. Your tranny will last a LONG time.

Yeah, I can't stand that I only dyno'd 340 ft.lbs. with a cutout and lid. Damn the loss of torque...damn it!

Hmmmm.....

Well apperently when it comes to LS1 related matters, Super Chevy is nothing more than expensive, shiny toliet paper.

You'd think some of these writers would read LS1Tech.com for a little while before showcasing their LS1 ignorance to a national audience. Oh well, we're here for you when you need us Super Chevy!

That's the most frustrating part about the national magazines. They have this arrogant attitude of "blah, it's all BS on the web, why bother?" It took most of them years to even acknowledge the Gen III as a viable performance engine worthy of their "hallowed pages". I mean how many Nova drum-to-disc conversion articles can you write? What they don't realize is that by the time their current reader base is gone, they will have no one reading their magazines because the younger or at least more savvy performance enthusiast requires "on-time" and current information now, not outdated like a 3 day old newspaper.
