The TT 3.6L V6 is definitely happening. The V8 option is unknown at this point. I have read they are testing a configuration of the ATS-V with a V8, but that may be preemptive testing for the new Camaro... We'll have to wait and see.
Personally, I'd rather see the ATS-V with the DI 6.2L V8, but I'm a V8 guy.

Nothing is officially confirmed yet, but I can tell you that the TT V6 is definitely happening for sure. GM is taking a page out of BMW's book here from the success they had with the 335. Fuel efficiency is going to be a big selling point for the ATS even in the V version and there's no doubt that higher MPG's will be achieved with the TTV6 as opposed to a 6.2L V8. And from what I'm told now, ATS-V will be strictly RWD as introducing an AWD platform to the ATS-V would bring the cost above the CTS-V which they are desperately trying to avoid. The next car I get is going to be an ATS-V regardless, but an AWD offering would make me even happier for the rough winters. What an Evo/STi killer it would be too..

A twin turbo six would be awesome for the Lil caddy that way they save the v8 for the cts-v and not confuse buyers on which one to pick. Plus maybe just maybe a turbo six could find its way into the base model camaro say 350ish hp with 30mpgs that would be killer then bump the SS up to 440-450hp then do us all a favor and do something to help out the zl1:-(

This. Forced induction seems to be the way to go, and I think the sky is the limit for the ATS & ATS-V if GM makes good on its claim that the car will weigh sub-3400lbs. That truly is amazing considering all the technology and safety gear that's going to be packed into this car. Hopefully Chevy takes a page out of Cadillac's book on this one and sheds some weight off the next gen Camaro..

sounds like a low 14/high 13 second ride from the factory. the GS is already running mid-high 14's stock with the same engine and 250-300lbs more weight (and fwd).
supposedly going to be a DI 3.6 with turbos...

Yup, I read that too. I also read that they are still testing a V8 option, so it could be possible to have a V model with 2 engine options. That would be interesting...
(V8 testing could also be for the next gen Camaro, since they share this chassis. Only the insiders know for sure though - that's my speculation.)
