The standard CUE (especially based on initial reviews) is a turn off.

I have a smart phone already, I don't need one built into the actual car. Give me nicely designed and intuitive center stack with ***** and buttons.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought this. The big screens are nice for implementing the backup camera though, but that's about it.

This is something that all manufacturers have been doing for decades. I remember seeing pics of the 4th gen Fbody and C5 both testing in the snow (as well as just about every other regular car they have as well).

I'm definitely on the other side of the debate on this one.. I love the CUE. I think the idea of the CUE is not to BE a smartphone (although it does have many capabilities), but to better incorporate your smartphone into the use of the car. Kind of like the Pioneer AppRadio.

Was able to get some inside info yesterday on the specs of the 2013 ATS. Refer to the chart below for leaked info. Lots more info can be found here (everything under chart has already been released):

3,467lbs.... Wonder how much weight it would gain as a 6th gen with a V8 and beefier trans? Of course ditching some of the luxury crap would aid in the weight dept. I'd be happy with 3550lbs out the door for a 6th gen SS.

Although the ATS does look mighty tempting for the wife

GM always finds a way to make a should-be light car heavy so who knows. I would anticipate 3700lbs for the next SS Camaro but that's probably a pipe dream

2013 ATS touts class-leading Performance Technology

"When equipped with Brembo brakes, ATS’s estimated stopping distance from 60-0 mph of 129 feet is among the best in the class. On race tracks, that equates to less time spent in a slow corner; on public roads, shorter stopping distances can reduce the damage caused in a collision or prevent one altogether.

“Performance, safety and style are the trademarks of all Brembo high-performance brake systems, whether on the road or on the track” stated Dan Sandberg, president and CEO of Brembo North America. “With the Cadillac ATS, we see a perfect example of how Brembo’s advanced..MORE"

+1

I really like the look of the standard car. I am sure with some subtle styling tweaks and more ***** could make it a pretty cool car.

The ATS is available to build on Cadillac's website now. I still havent seen any show up on dealer lots yet though.

I'll take mine with the 2.0T manual RWD in Raven Black please

I can't wait for the aftermarket to start making parts, I bet there's alot of modding potential for the 2.0T.

Quite a bit actually. GMPP offered a 30hp tune upgrade on the LNF for $595 that fell under the factory warranty. In Sky/Soltice trim it made 290/340 and Cobalt/HHR trim it was 290/315-320.

You give me that 2.0T ATS with 290/340 as a DD, I would be a happy man.

It is not a LNF. However, it is in the Ecotec family. There is no reason they could not offer a similar GMPP package.

Let's get one thing straight; the 2013 Cadillac ATS is not a super-car. It is not going to propel you from 0-60 in less than 3 seconds. It is not going to zip James Bond around while conveniently dodging rocket-propelled grenades and machine gun equipped helicopters in his next feature film. If your personal image of this car includes you hopping out of the driver's seat, doors opening Lambo-style as you enter the club with your model girlfriend, you may want to stop reading now.

But all this just provides a stronger argument as to why this car is the most exciting new car of the 2013 model year...FULL PREVIEW
