As it stands, we'll see the base C7, a Z51 package, a Z07 package (track pack, no new engine), and a ZR1. All will be LT1 powered except the ZR1, which will run a blown LT4.
It should be LT5 for the ZR1.

Ah man I'm disappointed. Really thought the viper was going to at least match the zr1. Same weight, same power, same quarter mile and trap. From listening to the drivers in the video I guess the viper's suspension is too stiff and bouncy. I'm very curious as to what the viper can do with the same tires as the vette. I wonder if the tires on the viper are killing it that much. The drivers did say multiple times that the grip just isn't there with the viper.

Wanna add insult to injury? Luke@TireRack just released the Pirelli pricing info:

Street
P295/30R18 PIRELLI P-ZERO $354.00 each
P355/30R19 PIRELLI P-ZERO $710.00 each

Track
P295/30R18 PIRELLI CORSA SYSTEM ASYMETRICO 2 $ 512.00 each
P355/30R19 PIRELLI CORSA SYSTEM ASYMETRICO 2 $1027.00 each

And I thought ~$1600 for a full set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports (285/35/18 Front, 345/30/19 Rear) was pricey
