FINALLY they fixed the bumper in the rear. No more afterthought backup lights they are in the tails now(should have done that in the first place) After seeing the tails in good pics i really like them. The whole car looks great minus that hood vent. It's not terrible, could be worse but a nice cown hood would do wonders

If the whole car shrunk ~3" height-wise it wouldn't look too bad, but it's way too tall as is. Best looking 5th gen I've seen as it manages to somewhat hide the fatness. That said, it's still fugly IMO.

I wonder where they are going to price this thing? The ZL1 was toted as the handling king, and this kicks it's *** around a track, so where can it go for price? I would imagine the ZL1 cost more to make, but weighing 300lbs less while only taking a less than 80hp hit, this is going to be just as fast at the drag strip and faster on a road course.

They did say 100lbs lighter than a similar SS, but that still puts it at 3800lbs as the SS is around 3900.

They should have gave it the same hood as the zl1. It looks 100x better than the **** they did right there..

I know one thing the owner better have a reserved fund just in case he screws up those carbon ceramic rotors. On the ZR1, they are about 7-8 big ones

My guess on price is +/-$50K, depending on options. I'm betting this thing will come stripped for mid/upper $40K but optioned out it will come close to ZL1 pricing.

I thought I read somewhere that the 2014+ Camaros were going to be Generation 6 Camaros like the 2014+ Corvettes are C7 generation... correct me if I'm wrong. just want to get this clear for my knowledge.

I never heard/read THAT at all.
I'd always assumed that a 6th gen Camaro wouldn't come until 2015 or 2016...and now that there's been a small facelift and the addition of this new model I'm thinking it might not even happen until 2017 maybe (even though the Mustang might be all new for 2015).

Those minor changes in the looks really do a lot for the Camaro. Really like this latest edition, plus you can't go wrong with a 427 and weight reduction.

Alright this thing looks mean and is going to perform, I love that you have the option to get it without A/C too, very hardcore car here. Wish I could say the same for the SS, looks better than the current one, but still cheesy.

I don't like the styling tweaks on the SS but after seeing the Z/28 it really works, I take back what I said the other day. I would buy one.

I like how everyone was crying to GM to drop a ls7 in the camaro and reduce weight, and GM finally did it, yet people still arent happy. I think this car is a good step in the right direction and i would definately pick this z28 if i was in the market for a 5th gen.

As for the price, it wouldnt make sense to make it more expensive than the zl1, since the zl1 is supercharged putting out more power, has some of the best suspension, and the name itself should be top dog.

This... I like the new look. I just think it took GM to long. & I'm not happy that they aren't releasing it with halo headlights. Easy fix I'm sure with aftermarket lights that I'm sure will come out. But pretty much everyone who has a 5th gen has halo lights over non. & like some have mentioned WHY! not change the dashboard for the Z28. It is hideous & never understood why GM continues to keep it.

& for the 2014 being the 6th you heard wrong haha.. The 6th gen is going to be on the Cadillac Alpha platform which will be bad ***! Because the Cadillac ATS weighs like 3400 lbs. So Id expect the Camaro to be in the 35xx-36xx lb range. Match it with the hp its making now. End of story
