Ehh...I don't know if I believe this. I could see it running 10.8 on slicks, but the low trap speeds and that they are saying it went 11.2 on the stock P Zero 275s at 125mph make the rest of it hard to believe.

It is running an 8 speed auto so I think those traps are about right. I can tell you these cars are wicked fast!

That's awesome no matter what the arguments are. I applaud dodge for going big instead of goimg home. I can never afford one so I don't care if it costs 100k or whatever. Same as the new Z28 I'll only ever get to see them in videos or spot one in a parking. Lot. Bad as hell.

Hey, that viper is running at my track. West Palm Beach, Florida. I wish they gave the weather conditions/altitude on the run by the challenger. Either way, pretty impressive for that weight. Most 661hp gt500 I've seen run in the 123 mph trap range.

Drag radials you mean.

I guarantee we will see them touch 10s stock tire.

I think it is to be expected with the power to weight by and an auto. I just think it will cost more than a z28 so who cares.....

I can probably believe that time & MPH. I myself have about the lowest mph of 111 to go with my 11.91..It's all in the 60' for me anyway.

Nice.
Viper would MPH faster so would most likely be faster from a WOT punch in any gear. Not saying that it's slow but the tons of HP is more than negated by the 4,500lb weight. It seems like I'm the only one on Tech who isn't really impressed by this car.

Newp, I hear these will come with paddles to row with. In typical dodge fashion, they are late to the party, throw out some big numbers pound their chest and be all proud about it right as people aren't looking at the current generation of cars, but the next. There is an obvious reason these cars are seriously lacking in sales compared to the Mustang and Camaro.

Dodge says nothing about slicks or DRs when you watch this video

You can sorta get a quick glimpse of the tires and they aren't normal street tires, misleading really....

Good god, who cares? The car ran 10.80's with good traction. I don't care if it was on a mud tire.

Dodge is releasing what is probably the baddest "Muscle Car" ever and all some people seem to want to do is complain about some rear tires. ("Stock ones aren't wide enough." or "They used a drag radial to run 10's.").
