Yeah I gota disagree heavily with number 5. Especially in recent years the Sierra and Silverado have been great trucks. And I can't go a minute without seeing one on the road. Tons of them still running around.

Nothing they listed about the silverado have anything to do with "reliability".

Of the 3 American branded vehicles listed, only one has a single issue, the Fiesta has transmission concerns. Otherwise, all the "complaints" are just that... not problems or faults in realistic terms. The 2 foreign nameplates had a real list of things they claim actually are faulty. A "rough ride" isn't a defect, but sadly, clowns like that writer will get people thinking there's a real problem... because people are stupid!

I just got a 2007 Silverado and I can't imagine them going backwards with it. The thing is almost ridiculously comfortable to drive. The interior is hard plastic yes but it is a darn truck not a luxury car.
