How much time do you actually spend racing? Now how much time do you spend hooning around on the street? I may go to the track a few times a year, so getting a few more tenths in the 1/4 means diddly **** to me. Beating some chucklehead from a stoplight means diddly **** to me. Dumping clutches and banging gears on the other hand, I do that on a weekly basis. If I want a drag car, I will go grab a notch mustang or an S10 and build that bitch.

I know a lot of folks like the exotic look, but it's not really my style; C7 also suffers from a bit too much "body excitement"/over-styling for my taste. C6 was really the last Corvette which appealed to me cosmetically.
On the other hand, there's no arguing with the performance, and performance for the dollar. It seems to be another objective win in those categories.
Haha, I've found myself saying exactly the opposite about several cars over the years, namely the '03/'04 Cobra and C6 Z06 - I would have been very interested in either had they come with an auto when new.

That rear is awful. Otherwise exotic from the side, Vette+exotic from the front. Too much body excitement overall. Looks like those renderings done by kids in JrHS when imitating cars. Too much everywhere.

I'd take the white one, then do muffler delete and bronze racestars . But I'm crazy like that.

Now that I think about it, I'm thinking a cam swap would be a real pain in the *****.......

I personally hate it. I think it takes away the front engine rear wheel heritage and looks like a cheaper Ferrari.

Not really sold on the looks off it either. But I always vote for the underdog. If my 60k vett goes out and destroy's 300+k cars. Then god bless America!! As far as I can remember that's the American way. Do more with LESS!!!!!!!!!
