Chinese Cars Spied!!
OK guys.... get this. I'm a student at Arizona State. My buddy from back home was visiting me. We went to the local mall to watch a movie and we took his lowered 240 sx cause it fits in the garage (unlike my lifted 96 suburban). ANYWAYS, while we were in the garage, we came across a set of these new cars (and scooters) made in China. We took plenty of pics... but we apologize for the quality. We have pics of the following models:
-Great Wall Admiral II
-Geely MR6370X1
-Geely MR7130X1
....and 2 scooters.... an "Autokam" and something else.
Posting pics on here soon as I figure out how (first time).....

Here's the Great Wall Admiral II crew cab pick-up truck, the pics aren't that great, but we even got one of the sticker (the only one of the three that had one):

Weird, huh? They were out in the bottom floor of a parking garage all by themselves..... perfect photo-op I thought, although my friend was tired, so he kept telling me to hurry up... hence why they arent the best of pics.

Great, more "generic" Wrong Wheel Drive junk (ha ha - there's a pun in there...)
You should send these "scoops" to some of the big name auto magazines - they sometimes pay for these sort of things!!
Surprised they weren't covered.
Also don't see DOT or EPA cert on "Sticker" and with offshore licence plates already affixed they are prob just here to gauge interest or raise some good old "Meriken munny" - I don't think we need to worry about hordes of Red Chinamen peddling Little Red Books and little tin cars soon...

What we should all worry about, is 1 billion low wage
workers getting trained by Taiwanese and Japanese
industry to produce decent product (look at any
electronics boxes lately?). It's going on. I see the
Chinese industrial footing very similar to Japan, ca.
1970. Only, with ten times the workforce, easily ten
times the natural resources, and huge foreign plant
investment.
"Little tin cars" kicked the **** out of Detroit once,
and a billion starving Chinamen are more than eager
to lace up their Nikes and get to work on their turn.
Who said, "nobody ever lost money underestimating
the taste of the American people"? I dunno, but it
goes triple for the "suburban appliance car".

I read an article somewhere earlier this year about a guy from Texas or Arizona (I think) that was wanting to import Chinese cars to the United States and start selling dealership franchises at like 20,000 a pop....The article made it sound as if he had done a few failed business attempts before and probably wasn't going to make it work or get the cars approved for sale here in the states.
