The Aston just wanted to draw some attention away from the Vettes

The Maseratti was looking pretty good too.

Why on earth are the Vipers always so far out of competition?

I was actually a little confused by the lack of Vipers....and the only Viper that was running was the First Gen Comp Coupe and not a second Gen Comp Coupe...Also I was rather miffed that there were no Ferraris running. I had thought therboth Le Mans prepped 360s and 550s?

The Number 4 Vette Finished 4th (Horray) the #57 Aston Finished second (Horray). The #3 Vette finished on 7-cylinders, but I can't recalle if it was ahead or behind of the Saleen and Maseratti. the #58 Aston retired right as I was leaving about mid-day.

Did the Vette finish 4th overall? Because it won it's class. How did the #3 Vette beat a Viper on seven cylinders?

Did you see the Grand Am race last week where that woodchuck ran onto the course in front of Max Angelleli?

It lost a cylinder right at the very end of the race, so it already had enough of a lead they could have pushed it to a win over the Dodge.
