Default The New Berger SS

Take a look at what is on Berger's website. I like it seeing that I own a Cobalt SS. So to all of those who were flaming myself and another Cobalt SS owner on here, call Berger and tell them they are producing rice and tell them all the other disrespectful comments you can come up with! Cant wait to here what people are going to say about this one!

I don't like it, But then again I don't like Cobalt SS's. $33,075 for that thing . For that some money you can go buy a new GTO and get a better built car with twice the HP. Unless you are a big Cobalt fan or Berger collector I see no point to the car.

what the hell did they do to it? It had better put out 350hp+ for that money, and come with a months worth of blow jobs.

I though I read that output has bumped up to 270 horsepower. That should let it run in at least in the high 13s easily. I don't think it looks bad. It's just in a different segment that we are used to. Now that there aren't any camaros to build, they have to do something, and I'm not against it.

And it is not rice. Anyone who thinks this is rice, doens't know what rice is. It is a nicely built car that's not dramatically overdone, with huge spoilers, groundeffects, wheels, neons, stickers, etc.

They built the car to compete with the Neon and all the cars alike. Chevy displaying muscle in a small package.

im sorry..that is a waste of time and money..if your going to pay money for that,,might as well get a honda. leave it stock and drive it, then spend the rest of your money on an older car that doesnt suck and has potential to be a decent weekend pavement pounder.

It's 280HP. It has the GMPP stage 2 kit on it, a custom cat back with a chambered muffler. It has custom built 18x7 Fiske wheels, lowered, slotted rotors, B&M Ripper Shifter, and the Berger decals/stripe package. I can't remember if there was anything else listed. I've looked at it and heard it run it sounds ricey and the looks just don't do anything for me. The price is insane for a stupid Cobalt. I'd rather go buy a $25K low mile Camaro and put the other $8K in mods. They're just trying to sell anything since the Berger/Hot Rod Silverado project bombed. I don't see this going anywhere either. They might sell a couple but I doubt there's a huge demand for it even with the Berger name on it.

First GM starts by throwing SS on everything... Now the Berger name is going down with it. What's next, a Dick Harrell Super Cobalt?

My g/f thinks it's a "cute" car.

What a waste of time. And $33K? Do they think EVERYONE in America is stupid?

And at the end of the day....you're still driving a Cobalt . You just paid a hell of a lot more for it.
