Hmm, I wonder if the sequential trans they are considering is the Hollinger unit?? But this may be too "full race" and unstreetable for the purposes of this ride.

There is already a thread about the Corvette C6RS here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/automotive-news-media-press/807738-best-corvette-date-pratt-miller-s-c6rs.html
Might want to post that link there instead.

F430 with an M6 is where it is at for me, LOL. But yeah the 599 is very badass...I just do not like the way it looks. But the 599 has a great engine!!!
But, I would rather have a C6Z and the difference in the bank!!!

Maybe. You still you would have a car you could easily get replacement parts for with the Corvette.
Most Ferrari and Lamborghini are limited run jobs.
That might not matter to some people. Depends on if you are going to drive it and if you would keep it long enough to need restro parts.
I was speaking in the sense you just can't get the parts at all even if you had the money sense.

I understand what you are saying, just I would rather have a much more rare and badass car for $200-300k than a Corvette.

I wish I was rich. I ship to Nordic countries all the time and know what it costs. Italy is even more due to logistics. Don't quote me on how long they keep spare parts. I know in the USA, you have to stock em for 10 years. What about low production Euro jobs? Not well versed on EU's views of warranty and crash parts.
