Default The all out anti american toyota commercials

new Toyota commercials on Tv? The ones where they put a F150 into the ocean. In another they drop a big beam on a Silverado, and i the last i saw the guy pushed his Blazer/Jimmy off a buildingthis makes me mad.

Very anti-American, destroying American designed and built pickups

My answer to those would be a commercial showing an endless line of V8 Toyota pickups in fron of a Toyota dealership looking for service......At the end I would put the words.."Happy now?"

The guy pushes a Bravada off the parking garage
The crane operator drops and i-beam on a Silverado
The family pushes a boulder over onto an Explorer
The lady drops a tree on an Aurora/Sillouette
The guy shovels snow on top of his Taurus for the snow plow to hit it
There's another that uses a Saturn, but I can't remember the scenario.

I like Chaman's idea!

They're just overly embarrassed by all the Ford trucks that showed up for their Toyota truck commercials

EXACTLY!!!!
I've noticed this as well, but was afraid to post it because then I would be labeled 'paranoid' by all of the import loving/supporting fanboyzz on here!!

Glad I was not the ONLY one who saw through JAPAN, INC.'s anti-American company BASHING tactics!!
Funny how they did not include even ONE Nippon company's product in the destruction, right?

I noticed the same thing and the arrogance really bothered me. The not-so-subtle message is "Toyota is crushing the Americans."

And the sad thing is, so many Americans are cheering them on as they do it. Why didn't we just raise a white flag after Pearl Harbor? Trouble is, half the Americans today don't know what that is, and most of the other half doesn't care.

It is pathetic to see how we are selling our nation out to Japan and China for consumer goods. I guess it make sense, because since the 60's, Americans have been taught to care only about themselves and not give a rip about their country.

No, it is a mentality that is reflected in a commercial.

Thinking it is "just a commercial" is part of the problem.

Smear campaigns, propaganda, false statements, exageration- they might as well be politicians.

I say GM should do a chevy truck commercial 4x4 tug of war with a tundra and then in the end it rippes the frame away from the body and drags the frame leaving the toyota driver sitting in his cab freaked out.

You're not far from right there. They are lobbyists, they do "campaign" but its for American dollars. Yes, its a smear tactic. Since they have worked with G.M. in the past I'm somewhat surprised they single out the General so often in these new commercials. Makes since though, no one is buying Titans and the Ridgeline is not a full size truck. So who eles do you target? Dodge? Yeah, cause those sell well too. I don't like the new Toyota commercials but they are creative.

That is about the best description. Creative does not always equal truthful.

Chevy should just make a short commercial loading a small 4-wheeler into a new Tundra. Then show a pic of the tailgate afterwards, lol....

I agree...but we better keep chummy with the Japanese...a US/PRC war in the future would require the US to have an ally in Dai Nippon.

They don't call it the "Toyotathon Backstabathon" for nothing!

Toyota sells about 2.5 million cars here annually, but the Detroit 3 combined sell less than 10,000 cars annually in Japan. Even the transplants here don't ship Hondas, Toyotas, etc. back to Japan. It's that type of thing that shut down a Ford plant in my community putting 700 out of work. Hey America, if we all pull together we can kill the Detroit 3 within 5 years. Come on, what do you say?
