With a 1.00 torque correction factor it is hub horsepower, so it is naturally higher than with the weight of all 4 wheels and tires. Then, any additional amount can be applied but is typically listed on the screen, where as this dyno was with an additional 5% correction.

Those are LT's NOT a cat back. Big difference.
Also a Supra,300ZX,RX-7 were not in the same class that this car is in now. Aside from the Supra they couldnt even hang with base Vette's. Big difference. Do you really think they put all that money into electronics and computers and put a power robbing cat back on it? Be real.

Also, I am not "hating" on this car "yo". Im sure it is a "tite azz whip", but it isnt my style. I am just stating my opinion, it is ignorant for you to think I am doing otherwise. Them claiming 22 whp from a cat back is like claiming 15 from a K&N, its advertising BS.

Edit- this is still a 2 into 1 into 2 exhaust, not even true duals. And many people are calling it a flywheel HP rating. This is also from a company developing the exhaust. Still believe everything you read?

Turbo cars and large displacement cars do react well to better exhaust (due to the fact they flow larger amounts of air), but I would also call BS if somebody claimed the same from a cat back on a Z06.

so what is the actual hp output of the GTR stock? apparently the 480 hp rating isn't even close if any of this thread is true. does this cat back include the removal of the cats? or any tuning? on a side note, i'd be pissed if i dropped 80k on a GTR and found out it had a 'shitty exhaust' on it. i would wonder about the quality of the rest of the car.

Overall quality on this car can probably be expected to surpass C6 levels.
This is coming from a person who is a GM fanboy to the core, but is realistic enough to respect a good thing.

You've seen, hands-on, in person your precious GTR to be able to tell this???
Or can/do you judge everything by a "quick glance"??

YOU can see at a quick glance at pictures from a magazine what the quality of a vehicle is? They all look good in pictures, give me a break. The quality is yet to be seen because the car is yet to be seen. With all the posts you have made you may get my vote for Nissan FANBOI OF THE YEAR.
