wheel hop kits

Kars III kits sound like you put a blower on the car in gear, with the clutch in coasting you can head the gears in the rear end spining around. I didnt like it, so I disengaged the rear cradle support from the anti wheel hop portion (its 2 bolts holding the two pieces together). Now I have no noise and no wheel hop, and when I go to the track, no rear end deflection.

ok as of no wheel hop how does it help with traction?? Does it make it just spin easier so theres no hop or just makes it hook?? That was my biggest thing on getting it because I didnt see many people address the hooking up with it.

ROFL!!!! well thank you very much for that detailed explanation. How about a good lauch at the track?? Ive been kicking it around to get one but I really wanna get a complete new rear.

Honestly short of going with drag radials or something I would assume that anything with a treadwear rating of less than 400 (read: almost every tire in an 18/30-45 series) will be more than enough to grab for street use. I think mine are 280 or 300. Of course if you have a blower attached to your motor traction is a thing of the past as our cars are wheel well limited to 285-295s (which I intend to slap in very, very soon)
