Default Another new record for 04-07 cts-v only bolt-ons

Today at mir in buds creek, md i ran a 12.600@113.6mph all i have is intake, headers, exhaust, dyno tuned. And as the announcer said again today that is a bolt-on record for the 04-07 cts-v.

Any wheel hop fixes? What rpm are you leaving at? Also, what was the 60ft. Great times and great MPH.

A 2oh is great for our cars but yeah in general that blows. How are you shifting?
Again, great runs.

Not to rain on your parade but with an elevation of 60ft at Maryland raceway, I'd say my CTS-V would spank your "bolt on" CTS-V at your track.

I ran a 12.78@112.7mph at Firebird raceway in Pheonix AZ with an elevation of 1,243ft, and 86 degree temps.

And I dont got HEADERS!!!! Justa catback.

Do you have a tune? Both of your cars and you as drivers are a lot faster than 90% of anyone else that has run without major mods.

Interesting that you can get a time like that without headers - 3 mph and amost 1/2 second faster than car and driver or motor trend were able to do with a stock car.

Yep, I did my own tuning on the car with just a wideband gauge, no dyno. A tune makes a HUGE difference on the LS6. Especially MPH.

I got.

UUC flywheel
Magnaflow catback
My own tuning
K&N replacement filter on bone stock GM intake

For suspension I got

BMR antiwheel hop kit

i agree with you that is almost impossible unless you have a lightened flywheel or bought the car and didnt realize it had headers or some other mod. and your not raining on my parade bc my time is still better and i have no flywheel or upgraded clutch just intake, headers, exhaust, and mild tune

Stock clutch buddy. Just a UUC flywheel.

And remember that you're lucky I dont run my car at 60ft above sealevel. Too bad I have to deal with 1,243 ft above sealevel. Or else. lol

And I doubt that a UUC flywheel does more for power than headers. lol

Me too as soon as I get these new tires mounted.

What tires are you running? Good tires will be more important than ever for you by next week. If you end up above 450rwhp, or closer to 500rwhp as you have planned, you're going to need some good tires in the back.

I just picked up a set of 4 BFG g-force KDs in 265/40 for $450 cash out of a warehouse in North Philly... The guys got a lot more if you want some. Cheap shipping too

uhg! don't remind me..i'm effin tapped...
this bad econemy usually makes bizzness much better.
kinda like a t*ttie bar...no matter how broke people are they still have money to
drown thier sorrows. but for some kooky reason i'm feeling the backlash.
enuff about them, lets talk about me...the first thing i will need is a clutch, as it will break loose around the same time the stickie tires do. so basically i'm gonna
limp around with what i've got till after the holidays. then maybe some 275's out back with my 245 fronts, as any wider and it would rub the fender wells.
mod hell is right! phuq me! lol

btw, that's a killer effn price on 4 bfg's...maybe i can somehow swing it.
if i can, i'll pm you in a few weeks. thanks for the look out.
