Default Powder coated my rims.

Just picked the car up. I think it looks pretty good. I wanted to do black so the windows and the tail light tint would all come together.

Looks great!! Why did you choose flat or satin black over gloss?

I just didn't want them to be shiny. I thought the flat black would just look better. I guess that really isn't a reason but I am glad that I did it this way.

Not really. I just told the powder coater I wanted flat black and this is what the car looked like when I picked it up.

Speaking of Matt/satin/flat black, think of this and get the specter wing....I have always wanted to see a silver with this scheme..

The stripes....

looks great BTW

Thank you... honestly, i'm not diggin the flat black. Makes the look dirty. Everything else on your car is shiney, the windows, the lights... why not shiny black wheels? I've thought about doing this to mine as well (mines silver too) but I think i'll leave them chrome for a while longer.

I'm not usually one for black wheels but I like your car. Shiny or flat, at least you got the right color.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I know it is kind of a love hate thing. I really like the matte black spoiler. I am going to have to think about that one for sure.

I don't have the headlights smoked but I have the light tinted fogs which I think match pretty well.

When you get your wheels powdercoated, does it cover up curbscrapes?

I was told that if you had curb rash, it needed to be fixed before powder coating as powder coating is only a thin coat. Small scratches and such shouldn't matter much but gashes and deeper rash would show through.

Window tint is 5%.

As far as the curb rash. I did have 1 wheel with some curb rash. I asked my powder coater about it and he said they he could fix it. I have looked over all 4 wheels and I can't see where the rash was so he did an awesome job of fixing it.

Looks good in flat. I like the fogs you have, I wouldn't change a thing.
