Default Long Shot: Anyone have a junk caliper?

Hey guys, I know this is an odd request but I'm trying to find a junk (frozen, shattered piston, etc) front caliper from a V. I'm trying to test out something for some W-body guys but I dont want to spend $300 on a pair when I dont even know if I can get a rotor to work. Yes, I'm being cheap lol

Anyway, if you have one or know someone with one, let me know.

Thanks

I'm always watching ebay. They generally sell good ones for the $250-300 for the pair price range. Which is cheap, but again, I only need 1 to take measurements, mock up, and attempt to either find a rotor that will work or have a custom hat made. So, that is why I just want a seized or useless caliper.

I have two new fronts that are not being used. If you wanted I could send you one that you could use. Of course not for free. Maybe like a $150 deposit and then when I get it back in the same condition I sent it to you in. I'd just refund all your money.

let me source a spare knuckle so i can do the work on the bench instead of messing with a car so i dont chance screwing them up... but... I need to confirm one more aspect as well before loaning is an option. I MAY need to tap them to accept the bolts, or if like the fbody brackets, I should be able to simply use a 14mm insert/sleeve.

same here... not since i sold my last Fbody. Though, I am currently in the market for a black on black V. Whenever i find the right one I'll pull the trigger. I havent had a car payment in over a year lol.

Anyway, I did confirm I will need to drill/tap to accept the correct bolts. So unfortunately for me, that rules out the rental idea. However, a member did PM me saying he will have a bad caliper soon when he gets it off the car. So hopefully this comes though

Thanks all.

I'm trying to avoid spending $200-300 since I'm not even sure this will work. It's purely a mock up purpose for a completely unexplored idea.

But thanks Raven for the previous offer, I should have taken you up on it. And the not coming through was another person that was going to sell me a junk one for dirt cheap on here via pm.

part number? Are they complete or..?

I know they are cheap on rockauto, but if they can be had that cheap from GM.

And I've tried car-parts. Every yard that lists them will not get back to me or wont sell brakes for "safey reasons". Why even list them!?
