So what do you have done and how fast have you been? My sixth pulls great, you just start hitting a brick wall around 170 lol

I broke 170 last night. Nice open stretch of road with not a single car in sight. Shifted into 6th and it pulled to 169 and stopped for about 15 seconds or so and finally clicked off a 170. I was happy with 170 and shut it down. Just curious if there were any others as crazy as I am. I'm going to get some tape for my sony digital 8. Anybody know how to upload from a digital 8 tape? I may have to borrow my brother-in-laws DVD camera. I'll have some evidence before long. I recorded the run with my blackberry storm but the piece of crap locked up and dumped the video.

Run it up to almost 185 & never before saw anything that went from 150 to 180+ almost as fast as from 70 to 100

maybe it's just me but if i build a car and happen to sell it...
i'll be able to sleep knowing I drove that car harder than the next guy who
bought it. otherwise, really...what's the point?
i cruise around, one handed wheel style cocked down low like master p pimp style
leaning g mack momey grip mean muggin vegas style at 120 just to grab a coffee.
i'll concur that the hood distorts something fierce at 150+ and worries me too!

After all my goodies, my V pulls to 100 very easily. Granted its not as smooth as the new V with its quite exhaust and all, but you dont even have to push the car hard at all to get there. In 6th gear just a slight push of the go pedal and the car is climbing past 100.

Actually at the time I had a custom intake pulling through the front bumper, and I running open x pipe. The car had a tune on it and was lowered. I was coming around 285 with some funny looking blue lights behind me. I had no choice but to see what it would do. I was holding it down in 5th for a good 7 to 8 minutes, slammed 6th and the rpms dropped to about 4,000 and it kept pulling in 6th it was the first time it ever did that. A small little decline stretch of road was definitely helping out. It shut it down right around 174, I tried for 175 but no luck that day.
