Default Pish Posh new M3 goes down for the count.

Just had a small altercation with a new m3. Just wanted to let the crowd know that the V proved triumphant. I was behind/beside him....a light turned from red to green as we were both slowly approaching. He hit it as did I wound out 3rd from about 55 shifted into 4th....shut down at about 130ish.

He was a good length and a half back....

proven yet again - per my other two races with the c63's (both wins by similar margins to the above) - from 40/50 to middle of 4th gear.....a month or so back.

Bolt on V's are good to hang with if not beat mid/low 12 cars from a roll.....assuming they dont have the horrible disadvantage at the track as we do (wheels hop).

Flame suit on for those who choose to bash for any reason.

I pulled up beside one yesterday, he reved, I looked over and he said "I love that car" with a smile on his face. I don't street race in traffic so we pulled away.

what mods do you have aside from the ones in your sig? because i know i would a tow rope to be able to keep up with a c63 let alone the new m3 ( aside from the vert) and i sit right in front of a fleet of engineering pool m3 vehicles. all which would tow up and down the highway.

not calling you a lair, i just having a hard time seeing how headers and a tune is turning you into such a german killer.

but i worked in the engineering department at mbusa when the c63 came out, and i now work in the engineering department of bmw... i also own a cts-v.

so i have a good deal of background on all three cars.... so i know where my car stands vs them with good drivers behind the wheel and its a constant raping that would require a good deal more then headers on my part to over come.

but hey what do i know.

C63 AMG i couldnt see us beating, but the stock M3 vs. stock V should be fun but still a win for us...

e46m3 we should beat no issue even with them having a couple of mods.

e9x m3s with the v8 would beat us. but a low rpm rolling race might be the one way to run with/beat them stock due to their weak low end tq. but a good driver would just keep down shifting until he/she is above 5k or so and then punch it.

I 'think' the Madman rear is only on three or four Vs, I think all have ProChargers, one 'may' have a Maggie. Guess without the additional 150+RWHP there is no one willing to lay out $7-8K on a rear. With the 'new axle fix' allowing a more aggressive launch you may see a stock V go 1.9sec 60' time, based on that look for a stock V to do sub 13.2s, maybe even really high 12s. Not sure if a stock V can grenade a rear, but mine and others have, not during wheelhop, so the new axles will only allow so much aggressiveness.

I seen a V with 150 shot on youtube get into the 11's! What are the average 1/4 mile times for V's with the Madman and maggied/procharged?

Not sure, as do not think any owner has posted timeslip. Bob, has the ProCharged V from EPP, has had issues, but I would think once he goes to the strip you should see a low 11sec pass on DRs.

Umm...I'd have to assume this has been done several times on a "stock" V. I guess you mean more often? I've only been to the track twice in my V, and out of 10 passes my 60' times were sub 2.0 twice. 1.96, 1.97, 2.02, 2.03, and 2.04.

You are a damn good driver, as cannot recall any timeslips on stock Vs with less than a 2.0.
