steering wheel wrap defect?

Default steering wheel wrap defect?

so i got my car back from another warranty trip and now the wrap on my wheel is cracking and opening up.. i think one of the techs had a chemical that reacted with it on his hands or somehting... the service manager looked and it and there gonna replace it it sounds like fooor free, even tho my gmpp wont cover it! gotta love havin low miles and keepin a clean ride casue they cant deny the fact its a defect or there **** up as oppsed to wear and tear... im glad i gave this dealer another chance...

anyone elses wheel done this?

The leather began to lift on mine, lots of green spots, no cracking, got mine replaced for gratis under warranty. My C6 is out of warranty now, and the steering wheel is far from perfect. Not sure what The General uses for leather, but it needs to be upgraded, as one would think the wheel would be good for 100,000+ miles on our cars.

75k and my wheel looks like new. Even the seats look like new. No odd creases or anything like I have seen in lower milage V's. I guess I got a good cow lol

got my new wheel put on today! skeet skeet! the dealer had a v2 on the showroom black/auto... pretty sharp... guys trading in a 08 z06 with 8500 miles... salesman is calling me tomarrow with more details....i may be able to get into that z06 for a REALLY good price...

80k on my car and the steering wheel is almost perfect.
