The soon-to-come M5, with a TT V10 should lower the bar at 'The Ring' for sedans. Of course AMG will have a 4-door in a couple of years to better that time.

Good for porsche. I wonder if Nissan is going to buy one and run the ring and see if it slows down by 4-5 seconds.

Dethroned... no way! Thats like paying someone 2.5X's the price to get your yard done a minute quicker!

The 2009 CTS-V is still the fastest production sedan in the world under $132,599.

I like the way you think! If I was to drop 135K on a car it would be an exotic, and by exotic I mean NOT a 4 door Porsche.

wasnt the the v2 time was done by john heinrecy (sp?) in an automatic....wait until a pro driver with a manual V hits the ring...I expect it to beat the super ugly panamera's time.

Even if it doesnt....who the hell would drive that ugly thing?

ha, i really wonder how many people would pay 130+ g's for a SEDAN even if it was the most beautiful car ever made....but tis not, its not attractive. so who the hell wants that thing. you could probably get a reallllllly nice S class for that kind of money. if i want something fast as hell on the Ring and a nice four door car, ill take a ZR1 and a G8GT lol not the same, i know, but its what i would do.

That sounds like a lot of fun if you could afford it, and you could put your mother-in-law
in the back seat.

Someone with Andy Pilgrim's skills driving a manual with Pilot Sport Cups could get another 10 seconds off that time, if not more.
