Default new headers vs kars kitt vs hendrix axles?

Hello all ive been waiting to get my headers in to compliment my magna flow exhaust and hp tune but my shop has had issues with its distibutor so i'm getting second thought about headers, maybe i should get myself a kars kit instead or even save a lil for the hendrix axles I love drag racing though it's not really something i'd do too often. I really just want a DD who can hang with the best of them. I do love a mean sounding V! but i just want that darn wheel hop gone!

Who cares about another 20 HP when you already have enough to shatter your rear end? If you love racing, especially from a dig, get rid of the wheel hop first and then build.

yup +5000, if i were you id go with the axles, their proven to eliminate all hop and no one to my knowledge has broken a diff with them in. sounds like a win win there. THen get your headers and have a real mean V the way they were should have performed from the showroom!! -IMHO

It's not absolutely certain yet, but if eliminating/severely limiting WH is key to diff longevity, then getting the H-E axles is the answer as the guy above point out.

And if the axles do what we all hope wrt the diff, it would follow that you really don't need the KARS kit.

As for headers, get them ... you'll love the sound with your exhaust!

Supposedly, a more affordable solution is on its way...so you may want to hang on and wait. That is unless you plan on making the 1200HP that the current hendrix axles are good up to.

Hendrix is in the making of some more affordable ones as we speak. They are being user tested here soon I believe.

There are a couple affordable axle solutions in the making. I wouldn't go with $2k axles if i were you. Go with the headers and motor mounts for now. Then get a set of the more affordable axles when they come out.

ive been reading that people with axles are still scared to break the diff, i heard the kars kit almost eliminates the hop. i will never spend 2k on axles to eliminate hop, i would prolly sell it if i had to buy axles rated at 1200hp for a car that puts down 325 to the wheels, i may just drive it off a cliff. i would get a kars kit and drive around the hop or buy another car to drag race with.

The cars kit cost a 1/3rd of the price but doesn't eliminate the hop completely like the axles do. I wouldn't spend 600 to only help the hop problem when I could spend more and eliminate it.

and once you hop and break a diff you will be out the cost of a kars kit, a diff and those axle to keep your new diff alive

Get the Hendrix Axles.....that's the ONLY thing that will 100% get rid of wheelhop! Kars Kits won't eliminate it totally. BMR kit blows.

Then you can get headers after that. Very close 2nd best upgrade in my book.....after the axles.

you dont need headers for sound. try these options first,
both for under 300.00 (muffler delete and x-pipe)

just mufflers cut out ( 60.00 at muffler shop)

x-pipe and muffler delete/ x-pipe from jegs 98.00
