Random guy shook my hand after seeing my car
I was leaving walmart and this guy and his wife pull into the spot next to me. They get out and slowly walk around the back of my car staring at it..lol. I pull out and he walks up to my window and shakes my hand asking me how I like my car. He said he was hoping to see one around here one day. I told him a few of us went to the track recently and I was running mid 13s and has wife said "sweet"..lol. It looked like seeing the car just made their day. They both just couldnt stop smiling.
..definitely a first..haha.

I'm alittle germane, so i always present the knuckle style greeting.
some people really respond favorably to these cars. at the car wash i use,
all the moon crickets call me "silver-spoons", one guy took it upon himself
to hug me so hard i passed gas. about 10 people were laughing so hard
the manager yelled, "get back to work before i poison your watermellon." lol

I got my V in Aug 2004 (some of youse young uns were not yet birthed ), a few months later in a parking lot a few high-schoolers walked up and chatted it up. They knew a few things about the V, not much , as one of them asked if this was the 'New Caddy with the V-12'. Being the smartarse that I was, and still is, and is to come, I told him this is a special version with the V-14 motor. Damnnn, he was impressed and then took a pic with his camera phone.

Most of the time I experience kids hanging out of the windows or pointing at the car telling the driver "it's one of those!".
The Vette people are pretty cool and they kind of tolerate the V as the crazy aunt kept in the basement.
Best part is being in stopped traffic and everyone looking around for the car that sounds like it is falling apart (mine) until I gas it.
WHOO HOO!

I need to use that if I ever get pulled over for exhaust. The V is still stock, but of all the loud trucks and fbodys I've owned, I've never been pulled over for noise.
