just tinted my lights
And I personally love the look. I dont know how legal, safe ect it is but im going to run it as long as I can. I did the fog lights, headlights, side marker lights and tail lights. I used about 80 percent of a 10 dollar can of vht nightshade. Personally it didnt dim the lights down to much although it is noticable. They did a little better after wet sanding with 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper then using my 3 step wax they cleared right up and are smooth as glass. The head lights are just to start with the normal scuffs and cracking of what ever they are coated with. But the cleaned up nice. Its to dark to get really good pictures but I have one or two and more will follow tomorrow after work and some touch up spots. on a scale of one to ten of difficulty i would give it an 4 for pretty easy but you have to know a little about paint.

Im going to leave the emblems the way they are for now and leave the grill alone. I might do the inside of the grill black I have to see if I have my spare v grill from my regular cts. Other than that the car is done on the outside until i get my tax credit back then im doing the specterworks power dome hood. finishing off the inside with a new v shift **** and the embroidered floor mats. then its all motor work and axles.
Im kinda worried about the cop but i figure if the give me a fix it ticket ill just get some paint remover and carefully remove it. I didnt scuff the headlights or anything just used the clear adhesion helper and went to town. Ill run it tell they tell me I cant.

that def looks bad ***!!! good job, especially for a DIY!
if i buy a V in the next week or so, im going to tint every lense black and paint both the grills black as well. then the wheels will get powdercoated as well (or i might just paint them up quick with flat black wheel paint).

Does this trigger your automatic headlight washers? I went 2 weeks w/o washing my car recently and my headlight washers kept going off repeatedly (because I was out of fluid..lol). At night, people were moving out of my way because it looked like I was flashing my headlights at them.
