Check Engine light?
I brought it by the Caddy service center today and they had like 5 cars backed up and said it would be tomorrow before he could look at it. The problem I have is that I'm leaving for Biloxi, MS tomorrow morning bright and early for Cruisin the Coast. The head guy up there said not to worry about it because these cars throw codes all the time for random things like the gas cap, O2 sensors, etc??? the history on the car is good, It still runs perfect, all the other gauges are reading normal.... Any suggestions??

ok now I'm more confused! code is P0833 "Clutch pedal switch 2 circuit"
After a little research I found out that this goes hand in hand with the cruise control.... And mine does not work so it's starting to make sense! Anybody know if this is a simple fix??

there a neutral safety switch and another for the cruise on the pedal ..prolly just the micro switch on the pedal broke or is sticking. if that interlock switch is broken or sticking it will tell the car that the pedal is depressed and kill the cruise..just like stepping on the brake..prolly why the cruise wont work...
