Default The V replacement.

Picked up an 03 Tahoe for $4800 with 150k on the clock. Rides awesome. Now its time for a C6 Corvette. If anyone knows of a Black C6 in the $20's, let me know. Thanks,
Bucky

Good job in buying another GM. Regarding the C6 pursuit, think about a 2008 w/LS3 if you can stretch your budget and/or the length of financing you are considering. The LS3 is worth the price difference, and you can start negotiating at 10% off listed price. Found this black one for you at $33,500 with only 22K miles:

Good choice of cars bro!

Sometimes I wish I had done the same thing instead of building a daily driver 4dr race car, cause after all the $$ into my V its only as fast as a stock ls6 vette and thats from a roll...from the line id still lose...

But a V cadi isnt a car that you see 40 of them everyday like a vette...

Good luck with your purchase!

The C5Z vs. C6 arguement is about a zillion pages long on any Vette Forum. Ballers, that own a C5Z, will always tell you the C6 is inferior. I will tell you that no one, no one on the planet, will take a V1 over a V2, even if the V1 has an upgraded, bulletproof rear and 500RWHP, and I parallel this to the Corvette arguement. The newer version of any car has huge improvements, the C5Z while nice, is not close to a C6, especially the LS3 vs. LS6, just ain't true. Many nice C5Zs out there, but no way, no day, do I buy into the arguement that a C6, whether LS2 or LS3 is less of a car than the C5Z.

Stick with the C6 for your next car, you will be damned glad you did---BTW, I own a C6 so I may be a little biased.

Glad I am not the only one thinking this, as I spent as much in mods on my V1 during the first two years of ownership to buy a used C6. Eventually an opportunity presented itself where I could get into a C6 at a good price. The V1 is a great car, as is the C6, very different, and both are proven winners. The biggest difference to me is that when you are driving the C6 you always feels like you are racing due to the low stance, low driving position, great aerodynamics and 3,200lbs.

ya I love to race , but to be honest I like a car that rides smooth and is more practical aswell... I realy dont often get a chance to race ..

As far as C5 vs C6 - the C6 looks better ..and Im not a fan of the interior of the C5, reminds me to much of my old lt1 camaro....

But if your a baller on a buget looking to go fast for less, you can get a regular C5 put about 4-5 K in mods and youll have one beast on your hands that will smoke a C6 and still cost you less...

If your a big time baller just buy a LS3 C6 and do 5k worth of mods and youll have a even faster beast

I'm going to go with the big time baller method. LS3 is on the way. Just gonna be about 2 months. Thanks for all of the help.
