Thread has W4ME on the title and he is in here so not sure why there are any surprises.

Do have to note that my investment of $1400 with Jesse got my V down to 11.3x times. My buddy, without NOS, did 11.2x with another shop and E85, injectors, tune, lower 9.55, intake and DRs. That set him back 6k versus my 2.55 upper, CAI and a tune. NOS gets him to 10.6. I am extremely pleased with my results.

11.2 and 11.3 is right with the pulley's you guys are running. they both do the same amount of boost. Your buddy obviously had to spend more since he is running nos and e85 so it's not hardly fair to compare dollars to dollars

Regardless good to hear your happy!!

Very nice! glad you got good work. Gonna come to the FL meet?

I'm hoping to run 10.0x in FL with my mods if the air is good, but i'll be happy with anything 10.2 and lower prob even a 10.3 since my 60ft time sucks lol

just repeating what was put in a PM, like I said I don't care anymore, show up in FL, run your 9.6 and It's over.

Until then, build your eco, build your TT, i don't care, just don't lay claim to the fastest v until you prove it, 600+ cts has that claim

Yep, I will be there, video camera equipped. Bringing some HD Heros along so we can get some nice videos from everyone. It will be cool to have first person, third person and competition views. I think 4 or 5 will work to augment the third party (stand) view.

Should be a lot of fun!

As an FYI, the NOS ran him another $2500. He also had all sorts of issues with the tune with CEL errors, engine cutting out, boost issues, etc. Once they figured things out, he started getting low 11's instead of low 12's/ high 11's.

Sounds good, I hope to have one of the hero's 2 by then

Also as far as price it's all subjective ya know? I mean if you see that sticky at the top you can get cheap or expensive. Yours from w4m sounds high compared to most of his prices I've seen, but what do I know. I do all the work myself and just buy parts

Can't wait to get mine tuned wed. car started right up last night with oil pressure, the cam is SICK!!!

FWIW, All this good stuff from my engine was put up for sale (CHEAP). IF it is not what it is purported to be, I'm held harmless. I did as much research as possible to authenticate parts.....

I would be lucky to break 13. Besides, a quick blast in a straight line, then sitting in staging for a half hour doesn't do it for me.

And I already have a pair. Ask my wife. She keeps them locked up in the closet.

Programmer - $400
Snout polish and mount pulley - $250
Belt - $60
Solid coupler - $60
CAI - $300

So, I guess it was actually $1,070.00. I installed it all (not much to that).

It will be really cool to get some dedicated time at the track and see all the other Vs.

30 min wait? huh? it's a private event with 10-20 cars, there would be zero waiting.

You let her keep em.... shame shame.

ah that's more like it.

Was your snout polished or just roughed up like others have commented? I'd guess you looked at it since you installed it?

Regardless you should come to FL and race

It was polished pretty decent, not rough, but not a machined satin finish either.

I will definitely be there in Florida.

cool deal. It's so odd how some of his work is like yours and others just sucks. I just don't get the inconsistency...

sounds good, look forward to meeting you in FL.

Curtis, you dont have a definate Invoice. THAT SHEET YOU HAD WAS AN ESTIMATE QUOTE.

Anyways, I believe the retail on those exact custom pistons was $1480
