Thanks Adam for the Clutch. I ordered the 7.6 twin for my turbo ls3 RX7. I had a monster clutch in there but it would not hold the power at the track. I was at the track last Saturday and at 8psi the clutch was spinning bad. I am going back to the track in a few weeks and I am going to run my car at 12 PSI 730 RWHP and see how it holds. I will report back after this test.

So...

Do you have any chatter at idle?

Are you worried about breaking your rear end faster? OR do you not drive "like" that?

Where is the engagement point?

I have no chatter at idle, but with the windows up in an enclosed space like a garage you can sometimes hear a very faint whirring sound. You wouldn't hear it if your weren't listening for it. It's not a deal breaker if you want to buy one. Engagement on mine is not very low. I have the UUC motor and trans mounts but not the diff bushing. The clutch hooks like crazy when you put it to work. I've thought about the stress on the rear end. The 1-2 shift is bolt action. I've never launched the car yet since the clutch is still pretty new. In a nut shell, it's a true performance clutch with solid, powerful engagement without the driveability issues of high sprung, puck style single disk designs.

Good to hear!

Please make a video of a 0-60 or 0-100 pull for us. I would like to see the un-sprung weight differences on the REVS.

What was the weight differences again?

See the video in the link from the post on the top of this page from Adam.

He went through all the gears at the redline without lifting the throttle.
I did that today. My clutch is a couple weeks old now. It works! I don't normally do that.

The weight difference was 41lbs.

Yes. Noticeably in the 1-2 shift. Drivetrain is much more responsive. Revs come quick and you need to watch the tach more than before. The limiter is easily tagged. Definitely "feeling" faster.

No videos as of yet. If I can hook up with someone with a camera I'll do one.

Price is 400 dolalrs more for the 7.6 over the monster stage 3 and doesnt even come with a new slave cylinder. Thats a lot of money, i think ill stick with the monster stage 3 when i do one.

Yeah but the driveability of the twin is what makes it so great! Not to mention, less pedal effort.

I dont think any V on this forum is making enough power to need a 7.6.

A 6.5 is more then plenty, I added up the price compared to a stage 3 monster and its not that much more. my final choise was between the 2.
A monster level 3 with the light flywheel costs
849$ (without slave for comparison )
50$ for a remote bleeder
50$ for atf fluid
50$ for shipping
Your at $1,000. then depending on which slave you want add the price of that.

When the 6.5 package 2 twin disk is $1150 shipped with everything but a new salve.

Its realy only a 150$ differance.

I drive my V hard, Ill keep you guys updated and ill have some vids as well so I hope the twin disk works out well. Should be in the car in a week or 2.

Gforce runs a sale every so often for the monster at 897 shipped and thats with everything including a new slave and pilot bearing, all u need is a remote bleeder which is 50 from tick.

Plus if the twin disk is rated at 500 tq which it says 500hp, ill be at 500rwhp but most likely 550-575 on spray with my cam going in next week. I know the 6.5 would prolly hold sionce i dont launch it but why not put the 7.6 in just in case i want more down the road.

The 6.5 is actually rated at 625 or close to that. Obviously, its better to have to much than not enough. The 7.6 will last longer than a 6.5 even on a 500hp car. If your at 500 hp then you shouldn't really be to picky at the price of a clutch. You get what you pay for. With the single, you get a sticky high strung clutch. With a twin, you get a sticky mellow eay to drive everyday clutch. Its just what is important to you. A little chatter and money in your wallet or a nice smooth take off and clean shifts all they way to redline with a little less money in your wallet.

I see what your saying, does anyone besides fidanza make a twin for the V yet? Ive never been a huge fan of fidanza and would prefer someone like mcloed or textralia.
