Handheld Tuner
Anyone have a recommendation for a Handheld Tuner for a 2007 V?
Each time I look for one, most of them say the are for the LS6 Vs. But it says it will work for the LS2 GTOs and Vettes. Will there be any problems going with the. Also, I sak because my dad wants to buy one for his 06 GTO, and wants to split the cost with me. So one that could work with both (hopefully not hard since the our both LS2s) would be great.

hptuners or dyno tune. i had a superchips handheld tune on my car and on the dyno they had to shut it down because it was going way lean. just shows tunes that are built for the same car dont always work on your car.

Matt will walk you through everything and is willing to answer questions. I think SNL charges 450. They just did heads and cam in my car and from 12-8pm we were tuning my car trying to get it right.
He is very meticulous and the best tuner IMO. He has done a lot of work with Cadillacs as well so he knows them inside and out.

The mail order stuff is so generic and when you crack it open it isn't worth the 500 bucks they charge you. Getting mail order tunes (Sending your ECU) is just not worth it in my opinion. You got a guy usually tuning stuff in another state making a bunch of assumptions on conditions.

After spending a day with SNL they'd really have to f me over unpleasurably to make me consider going elsewhere. I drove 500 total miles for the clutch install - I'll drive 500 more for my maggie tuning. These guys are pillars of the LS community.
In true response to the query though...
Handheld to do multiple cars would be a one-off. HPTuners credit system is awesome for multiple cars. The Diablo I have doesn't support the towing motor or I'd sell you my spare for cheap.

you are the second person who has told me SNL is a good place to go in DFW. And in my book, if a V1 and V2 owners like the place, i think i should go there for sure. I am talking to the about installing my Katech STS, Cat back, and T-Stat.
