Yesterday on the way home from work on a good 5-6 mile flat stretch of highway I flipped on the instant MPG calc. For the whole period, with cruise set at 57 in 6th gear I was seeing it bounce between 29-30 mpg.
Seems VERY high.

i have stock size tires so my speedo is fairly accurate off 1-2 mph sometimes according to gps and my average mpg is fairly accurate
the fuel range varies too much to tell
that sounds very high for instant, i drove from MI to FL on cruise control and got a best of 23ish mpg
just my 2c

Yeah I followed it for awhile and then watched it on uphills/etc. Stock Rims/Tires/Tune so not sure what is going on but on the slight inclines it would drop to like 24mpg and then on the flats it would raise to 29-30 again.

I've been checking mine every week (fill up once a week) for the last 2 months. Pretty accurate - within 2-3 tenths so far.
My previous car ('09 Cobalt SS) was always at least 1 mpg lower than reality.

Yea mine is damn accurate. I filled up yesterday and it took 14.06 gallons, i checked the fuel used function and it was 14.0 on the dot. MPG are always almost dead on for me at least.
