Got the housing all bolted in over the weekend. Didnt get the axles and inner stubs made Friday like I wanted, the lathe had a fit and we have to get it worked on Monday.. always something.
The housing looks great in the cradle, throw some dirt and grease on it and I think it would OEM
If you look close you can see the new outer stubs in there too.

wow, that looks great and damn my car sure is dirty under there, lol!! Must be those gravel roads around the shop. I am going to have to clean all of that under there when I get her back, lol. When I go to the next car shows I am going to have to jack up the car to show off the best parts .

We decided on a 2 piece driveshaft for this build. These cars require a 60"+ long driveshaft and anything smaller then a 3.75" one piece just didnt provide high enough criticle speed #'s.
We will be offering a one piece 3.75" Carbon fiber driveshaft down the road but right now there is a 30 day wait on carbon fiber tube from the supplier so opted to do the 2 piece shaft.
This is one bad *** 2 piece shaft, 3" chromoly tube in the front and 3.5" aluminum tube in the back.
The center support is a heavyy duty unit and is way stronger then the stocker. It alsoo uses heavy duty 1350 series u-joints.
We will are also selling these shafts for OEM CTS-V rear as well.

You have to do some cutting and welding to make the housing clear, not much though. There are photo's in some of the first posts about where and what to cut.
There are also a couple places on the cradle that needs clearanced to give the cv joints a little more room. It's an easy job for someone with a plasma cutter and welder or a shop that does installs.

Trade you an econo-axle and a fancy three piece factory diff???
You sell piece by piece? K-Mart layaway plan?
10% off for a group buy?
