Its was about 45 deg this morning and a local shop was having a dyno day. Last time on the dyno it was around 90 deg so i had to see if she would pick up. New #'s are 518hp and 532tq. Diffrent shop but still a dynojet dyno. Old # was 495hp and 502tq.

these are really good numbers. i was thinking about maybe doing a cam this winter but a set uf headers would be much easier and put me just behind where youre at as im running the 2.8 pulley. i have an alky kit from my lt1 i had that i havent installed yet. i know the great things alky can do (went from 17# to 23# on my old 87gn with no knock) but our engines are 10.5:1 comp. thats alot for boost. how much boost do you make with the 2.7 pulley? not trying to hijack just like the #s you put down, thanks

Boost will go to 8.5 around 5200 rpm but falls back to 7 by 6000 rpm. With the alky my timing is at 22-23 deg. I don't have a cold air intake I just run a K&N drop in. Lol

Mine will bounce around 10lbs. Odd you are only at 8.5. Ichpen on the other forum has has stock cam and also sees around 10lbs with the same pulleys. May be a combination of the drop in and aftermarket exhaust. I have the 1 7/8 kooks no cats going through stock exhaust back to some flowmasters in place of the stock cans. The heads are untouched as far as the runners and valves are concerned.
Do you still have stock valve springs?

I'm still a 5.7 but I do have dished pistons so I have a little more volume to fill than a regular LS6. Valve springs will help if they are bleeding boost. Not sure how much the stock yellow springs will hold. I can't really see that being the problem though. I didn't catch that you are a 6.0. Thats probably it.

Heads or headers? I did headers, I was at 5.5psi before the headers. I bought Kooks 1 7/8 with no cats and everyone told me boost will drop 2psi or more. Went with a 10% overdrive crank pulley and a 2.8 top to get 7psi. Picked up 35hp. I see you are down the road in New Iberia, La. Who does your tuning?
