decided to be different.... (*new wheels inside*)
A lot of guys were powdercoating the wheels gloss black or flat black, but I decided to be unique. I went with a gunmetal color, but under direct sunlight it almost looks like it has a little bit of bronze in it, which I kinda like. Also got rid of the 45 series BFGs and went with 245/40 Nitto NT-05s.
Here are some pics.

You can really see the bronze in the wheel in this pic....

I pulled them off, along with the surrounding trim, and had a local shop paint everything for me. cost me $100 but it made the biggest difference in the world! Taking it off wasnt that bad at all, got the upper and lower grille off without removing the bumper and all, just pop off all those push pins and tug!

He probably switched because he thinks (as I do) the 245/45s look like off road tires. I went to 245/40 so that my front tire wasn't jammed up in the fender well. 245/40 looks a lot better on a lowered car than the 245/45 IMO.

Looks good, but you gotta do something about the center caps IMO. I run a 245/45 on the front of mine and mine sit just the way yours do so something doesnt sound right if your front end was tucked. Ive never heard of anyone having to run spacers on the front shocks so maybe its time to look into replacing them.

My car is lowered as well and I'm about to buy some new tires. I've been stuck between sticking with my 275/40, 245/45 combo or dropping the diameter a tad and running 275/35, 245/40 instead.
My car sits right on the 275's in the rear and tucks the front 245/45's just slightly but IMO, I like the way the wheel well looks filled up right now. Makes the car look lower to me having less tire to fender gap. But, I'm not sure what the 35/40 combo would look like cause I haven't tried it. I might like it better...

I have the center caps, and I'll be getting them painted to match soon (gotta find a color that will be a match since they cant be powdercoated).
