Embroidered headrests (pics)
Just got my headrests done, not your typical V badge or caddy wreath. My business logo has been for years a caddy wreath with rolex type crown, so I felt it was fitting for my V. The thread is silver and a close match to the threading used on the seams. Paid 120 locally. Oh ya and got my TWM shift **** today too, and shipped out my rear wheels to get them widened to 10".

The shift **** is one solid piece, at 600g should counter weight nice. I wouldn't recommend it for people who drive in the winter months in cold weather, it would probably take an hour or two to warm up.

I'm lowered about 2" in the rear so I can't go any further out. I have MAP trailing arms so they should be out of the way, sway bars should be ok, I know people were running a 295 tire in the rear so I should be fine, I think I'll be running a 295/40 tire, haven't decided yet. .
A tire of that size would not fit a V1, because of the diameter & width of the tire, regardless of MAP trailing arms.
A 295/40/20 will need a 10" to 11 1/2" wide wheel and the tread width will be 10.5" to 11" width with over a 29" diameter.
I think you will find that you will be limited to 295/30, at best, provided their are no passengers in the back seat, especially since lowered 2".
I too, wanted to go big & wide, but my research indicated . . it ain't gonna happen. I'm at 285/35/19 on 10" wide wheels and it is maxed out on stock suspension.
But, you could 'tub it out' -- whew-heww.
There are a couple of guys doing that . . 'tub' . to their cars. We'll have to watch & see how it goes.
Oops on the thread jack . . but anyhow, who did the embriodery work? I would not mind a V logo inside the wreath . . hmmm. The **** is cool & good luck with the wheels/tires.

I do not know of any mfg that makes a 295/40 - 18" or 19".

Still haven't even considered which street tires to go with yet. Something grippy that's still safe on the highway, and won't send me hydroplanning into the ditch in the rain. Would also like them to last me atleast 2 summers of driving.
A local place did the embroidery called Compustitch.

I couldn't remember wich size was close to stock diameter?? I figured I was off on the series. 35 is about the thinnest I would want to go, so 285 or 295 whichever is close on diameter, in a 35-40 series 18".
