Default V1 T56 mount question.

does anyone know the size of the 2 torx on either side of the tranny mount? cant remember it off the top of my head and i need to know!

i think it is a t47 if i recall, be careful because i damaged one and needed to cut it to fit a wrench on it.

I think it was a 50 as well, but the directions stated 47

Damn, that is a big torx head. Hate those things in a torque application. This 98 Jeep ZJ 5.9 I had used those for the control arm bolts and want to say they were T50 or so and wow was that a PITA to not strip (was on so tight). I replaced them with hex head.

Make sure you use a socket-type for like 1/2" rachet and not a screwdriver (although haven't seen on that big) and get something good (the tool, like armstrong, proto, etc), or you'll be cussin' a lot, haha

Ameican car, all metric fittings. obviously a near bankrupt company is going to try and save money where they can lol. Its a 50. thanks guys.
