Default Best way to get rid of the amber?

Hey Guys,

What is the best way to get clear fogs on my 05 v? I would like it to be clear so what options are there?

Thanks Dave..

there are 2 ways to do this...

#1: cheap, but harder way...make you own plastic lenses to replace the amber ones.
#2: expensive, but easier...replace with STS-V fogs. has to the be the STS-V. Link

I went with option #1. Took some work, but I really like how they turned out.

just search ebay for ' cts-v clear fog'. They are always listed on there. Usually $299 price. There is a good thread about these on the other forum.

I did option one as well but I bought 3/8 tinted lexan and I love them. They match my tinted side markers.

Get the ebay ones, much cheaper then the STS-v ones, and they don't give you the pencil beam fogs like the homemade versions.

Plus you have you stock fogs that you can sell to get a little of your money back.

I never really use my fogs since we don't have real "weather" here in Az. It's really just the look that I'm going after so I'd rather not spend the extra $$$.

Are the oem STS driving lights (fog lights are yellow or amber and not talking about those marker lights ) similar to the CTS-V lights, where they have the light spectrum color of an older headlight, or are they more 'HID'?
