Default CTS V performance parts website

Has anyone seen this website and the claims it makes. The kits to me seem waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced, and the horsepower claims seem to be overstated.

I know prices have come down to cam/header packages.
What are the more recent prices around the country for cam/header packages AND the advetised HP gains?

I have now about 350rwhp with CAI & W4M chip on my LS6

I'd like to see 425rwhp & 400+/- tq good for open track events and still have a streetable/livable cam

u wanna know what is crazy? look at the v2 package for 6500. the cost on those parts that I can go buy is a grand total of no more then 2 grand. that's 4500 profit, that's a nice profit margin!

I paid $1820 to my local shop/tuner for my cam install on my SS a few years ago. BTW I supplied all the parts myself. Some of these shops cater to guys with more money than brains when it comes to cars. They like the guys who walk in with a Vette,Viper or V and say I want some more power. 10K and 100hp later they think they got a good deal. They dont want the customers that don't want to go with their preset staged upgrades or question part of a package knowing they can get it for half the price somewhere else.

yeah I have noticed that, esp based on some of the comments they made to me lol.

oh well nothing wrong with that way of doing business, it doesn't cater to all of us.

I would think that a tune is included in that 50hp..espically for the crazy *** price. Remember these guys are probably advertising crank hp, not rwhp.

Nowhere in any of the literature that I looked at did it mention RWHP, so the 50 HP claim could be somewhere close with a little cheating. I am sure that includes a tune, even though that is not printed. Nor do they state whether the HOP claims were derived from an A6 or a M6. I did not see if there was a dyno chart available to look at, but if not, they also do not advertise the correction factor. Just my $.02 worth. We've got at least one shop in the south PRK with almost identical claims and prices.
