Default Quick Question : KARS Kit & Sway Bars together?

Just a quick one - Does the KARS kit include or replace the stock sway bar. Wondering if I can do the hotchkis bar AS WELL AS the KARS kit

Yes, both parts will work together at the same time. I ran that setup for awhile until I got tired of the obnoxious amount of noise that was transmitted into the cabin via the KARS Kit. I upgraded to the GForce axles and couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the response - do you believe the KARS kit added to the rigidity of the car?

You know, it might have a little bit. I actually did a track day with the kit on the car. But I would say it wasn't a noticeable difference from my previous setup with the swaybars only. But just based on how it is installed, it should add some amount of stiffness to the rearend of the car.

Did you find a KARS kit?
One day I plan on getting one fabbed up, that and a sub frame connector.

Tweeter said it almost precisely the way I would have.

I had both for a while and even did my one and only track day (V-Day I) with a KARS kit plus Hots bars. When I bought my axles, I put the KARS kit up for sale on eBay and got just about what I had paid for it. I figure that once you have axles, a KARS kit is redundant.

Thats mostly what I'm looking for in the kit - the subframe reinforcement but the wheel hop minimization is a welcome addition as well

Would love to find somebody who is making a subframe connector or be a guinea pig for somebody who has a welder wink wink nudge nudge

I'll probably end up designing and fabbing it up for the most part, then take it to one of my friends that is good at welding. Sub frame connectors should be easy enough to make. I have plenty of pics of the KARS set up, I was actually thinking of making a KARS-subframe connecter as one whole piece.
Probably won't be until the dead of summer before I start something.

j/k Summers are short enough here, but I'm sure it's beautiful up there. Would love to travel up there some day ... some day.

98Cobra,

Post some pics of the KARS kit, if you don't mind.

Thanks,

LAW
