Default Need Help!!!!! Gas Tank ??

Okay took down the Gas Tank to put in new pump and wiring, what a pain in the AS*...... When taking it down we thought we had it all disconnected but on the back of the tank it looks to be 2 or 3 spots that have sending units for emmisions, on one of them there is a plastic tube that goes from the tank to a box behind it. We did not see that there was a clip in between the box and the tank and on sensor the tube broke off. Can you order these sensors and if so how do you replace them?

Thanks

If someone knows or can get me the part number for this it would be Great, I have looked online and can not find and for some reason can not find my disk for the Service manual for the CTS. It is the one that has a small and a big hose hooked to it.

If it makes you feel better, the Dealership guys break those stupid *** fittings all the time and epoxy them back on. Almost always happens on new products/models that nobody has worked on and the instructions don't say anything about it. And if the part happens to be listed, its not available b/c the platform has been out for only 90 days and there are none available.

Trust me, happens all the time and never had any comebacks that I have ever heard of.

What did you end up doing did you find a part number or epoxy it? I broke that same little white piece tonight pulling my tank to change the fuel pump.

I ended up just going to the local junkyard that had like 4 regular Cts's and they pulled the gas tank outta one of them and I bought it for $75 since the stealership want over 1k. But all the Cts and Ctsv gas tanks are the same part number and that piece can't be replaced you gotta get a new gas tank.
