Default New PB

I went Byron Sunday and got a personal best, although the car is falling off in the back of the 1/4. I plan to go see my tuner in the next couple of weeks to do some data logging of runs and tweaking. My mph is just not there. Probably something very simple and hope the next trip to tuner gets it resolved. The DA was 2853

Wow, a 1.4 60' time! Auto, I assume? What kind of tires, do you have full-on slicks?

Sweet run! Those sixty foot times are insane for a 4K+lbs car. What tire pressures are you running?

Thanks guys. I ran 17 psi with that 60. I usually start around 18 and go down from there depending on the how the track is. I'm in the process of data logging with hp tuners because the nitrous keeps shutting down. I believe it is because the A/F is moving outside the window safety cutoff parameters I set. It is too difficult to determine while running the car, so I bought the HP tuners Pro VCM series and will now be able to see what is going on. I will focus on the fuel PSI, injector duty, spark, etc.
I have been told that the injectors I have are crap. We will see. I hope to get this dialed in within the next 2-3 weeks and then wait for a day with good DA for the slip I want.

I should have a trap speed somewhere in the 139mph zone.

What are your mods? Why do you think there is a tune issue?

Well, it appears the nitrous is shutting off at some point prior to the trap. I can not tell at what point. I have my window switch safety cutoff for AF at 12.2 and 10.5. If the nitrous gets outside that window it cuts off. There is too much going on to watch the nitrous gauge closely enough. I bought the HP tuners VCM Pro suite so I can log and look at it after the run at leisure. Last year I was able to do 134.4 trap speed and 10.38 with my built LSA and a small 35 nos pill. I put a 200 shot through it with the LSX, yet my trap speed is 134.0 and I got a 10.26. Something aint right.
I should have a higher ET mph.

The logging should help me determine what is going on.
