This is what I'm still curious of. My gut says not to believe for a second that removing the radio would cause you to lose the ability to modify TC settings. That just sounds ridiculous from an engineering perspective. All the lights in the cluster light up and turn off the same, so I have a feeling that it's only that you no longer get the messages. I'd really like to hear something definitive as I only really care about retaining comp. mode.

what harness did you use? also do your still wheel controls still work? Annd will sombodypost up a pick that did this or any of the kits so other can see.

I just bought a used CTS radio from ebay with the intention of figuring out how to display messages else where.

Just curious if anyone else has done this? Also do you still have all the functions that you have on your gauge cluseter (g meter,coolant temp, oil temp, ECT) Do the driver door ajar ect features still work? Also does an different head unit still work with the bose speakers? I had a 350z with bose and i changed the head unit and the spekaers sounded like garbage. Thanks for input
