IMO even the low 30's would be stretching it. Especially with the used V2's coming down to the mid 40's.

No discount for advertising MSD? I need to pay them to advertise their product, lol...well, you know what I mean.

Nice components and hard to say if this would be worth anything down the road or not (as an investment). Problem is, soon as you paint it or change it to get rid of all the advertisement, it takes away from the originality of what made it special, I guess (in that sense, for somebody to pay $$ for the name). Then again, I don't know if it would be anything special down the road or not (mainly cause of the hideous schemes), although MSD is a big name for now.

cool car and all, but not appealing with all that advertisement on there and once you take it off, it becomes another modified V, plus you end up spending a lot of $$ to do it (seats and such). I see this going to somebody who collects cars and has it for display purposes...If I had more money than I could spend, I'd probably pick it up as a collector's item, so to speak...

I love the color scheme especially with the 2 tone int...I think it does need though more red design on the sides of the V..... wonder if it still has the pos 6cyl. rear???? also 540rwhp sucks for a procharged V.. must be running pump gas and no meth. with about 5psi.....

Look at the Marboro Syclones..My SY private party Kelly bluebook is $14,800 the MARLBORO SY can fetch 60 grand with no problem..so sometimes it's worth advertising for investment..could be of value 5 yrs. down the road

Those Marboro's would sell at 60k within a week. Most go for around 75.

The marlboro Syclones were a promotional giveaway, that people won as prizes...Funny thing is I don't remember that contest and smoked marlboro back then (but more camel).

I had a Syclone when it was still pretty much new and remember when I bought mine (used), the dealer sold the last new one they had on the lot for $18k, lol. Dammit, missed it by just a couple weeks. It wasn't a marlboro one, but they didn't sell well (the regular ones) as $28k for a small impractical truck was a helluva lot of money in the recession of '91. They weren't meant to be limited production, but it's good they did for the value and mystique.

I wouldn't compare this aftermarket MSD V to the marlboros, as far as value and desirability, but imagine if somebody kept hardly any miles on it for several years, it may be a decent investment.

PS - I wouldn't have driven a marlboro syclone around town either

I don't think it looks too bad. Could use about 87 fewer MSD logo's but I kinda dig the colors. It'd look about 193X better if it were dropped, and had all the lights/reflectors blacked out.

I think at the time they did it in 2006 that was a cool look, but outdated now for sure.

The reliability of the car will increase when the MSD ignition coils are replaced with ACDelco ones.
