What is a good used OEM CTS-V front bumper cover worth??
Just as the title says. Buddy had someone back into his V with what looks like a hitch that tore the cover. I'm trying to find him an OEM replacement for a good price. He can claim insurance but if its not going to cost too much more to just buy the cover outright and have it painted, he'd rather do that than claim it. I've been looking around and haven't seen much in the way of used covers until i found one local for $500. Its the red color and would need to be painted silver for his car but is that a fair price? The guy was asking $600 and said he'd take $500 when i contacted him. Told him I'd let him know. Structurally it is in perfect shape he said so it would just need paint.
$500 fair for a good used OEM cover?

Just had a run-in with a trailer hitch myself. Also looking for the best deal.
Car-part.com has nothing local.
ebay's best offer comes painted:

The 516 deal would probably come out about the same once painted.

Yeah my wife backed into my car earlier this year...fubared the grill and I now have a rip and a couple of holes in the bumper. After straightening everything out, you cant tell from 10ft away. I didnt feel like spending over a grand to replace the bumper, paint and grill...just to have the bumper look different than the rest of the car. I did win my class at a car show with the damage..180 cars there too (1980 and newer modified class..lol)

(I didn't even know it was possible to have a deductible that low. Such a low deductible can't be good for your insurance rates, methinks.)
