Anyone Know of a Good Repair Shop Bay Area?
So if anyone remembers my misfire thread , I played with my car some more and gave up. Since my tax returns are on their way, I would like to take my car to the shop and get it repaired. Anyone know of a good mechanic in the Bay Areato take it to that does not work at a dealership? Please post up suggestions.

I've always taken my caddy to DJ's performance and have always had good work done. I have also gone to TPS motorsports in Campbell who specializes in corvettes and mustangs. They tend to be pricier but seem to do good work also.

Thank you. I actually live in San Jose bordering Campbell. I will check out both shops.

And let us know about another meet. This time make it in the South Bay. Last time was at the Livermore Hooters. Didn't want to drive all the way to Livermore when I have a Hooters 3 blocks away in San Jose.

When I called to confirm that the car was done, the mechanic told me that when he replaced coil # 7, his hand held reader showed no more faults. Apparently #7 coil was reverberatting causing the other to coil to look bad. So he only charged me for one coil and labor.
Car runs perfect now, so I'm happy.
