Thats why I'm going to wait a little longer to do mine. I'd be pissed if I spend the money and still had vibes. I'll probably just wait until my clutch is smoked.
On a good note, I just ordered all this crap for my '81 Corvette and it cost $950 LOL

Don't forget sdparts.com is selling a whole kit(GM LS7 Pressure Plate, Disc & Flywheel. Also includes GM flywheel and flexplate bolts.) for $459.
For another $100 you can get the lightweight Aluminum flywheel, which I think is a bad idea for our cars, but I have HEARD of one person using it and not having any issues.
And yes someone is selling a GM LS7 clutch kit for 299.98 shipped and then you have to get the flywheel which I have found for about $250, so the SD kit is stil cheaper as this does not include ANY hardware.
So you could get the LS7 slave at O'Reilety for $100
AND, the remote bleeder is another $80 at LAPD, $50 at Tick, Speedway motors offers one with your choice of length from 6"-48" for $29.99......
So depending on the parts you choose: $559 - $1000 if you are not careful.
I am going with the SD kit as I cannot find anything less expensive and I have done a little homework.

its like 89 i think...I honestly have no clue how much they should be heard some say over a 100 and some get them for like 50??? If it was me I wouldn't count pennies and get whatever gets the better rating at this point. Surprising the people with the ls7 setup haven't given you a shout out yet, may want to post it as a sep thread...

I just did this swap. I got the slave from O'reilly. I just looked up the slave for an 06' Z06. Got in 2 days. I also used the Speedway remote bleeder set-up, just beware that the fitting they send will NOT fit in the slave. I was pressed for time so i retapped the slave to accept the fitting that Speedway provided with their kit. Pretty straight forward swap though. I agree the pedal engages close to the floor, hopefully it will move up as the clutch breaks in.

I just put it in Saturday ~ 150-200 miles? Pulled a marathon Saturday, I put in a new engine and did the clutch - looooong day!
I got the clutch from GMPD. $435 shipped. EPC wants $435 plus shipping and you HAVE to buy "accessories" in order for them to honor the $435 price on the clutch, guess I missed the fine print!

Can anyone confirm the correct thread/pitch. If so all you have to do is fo to a hydraulic shop and get the correct fitting.
