Default v1 racing seats?

ok so heres a new one that i havent been able to find any info on.

where the hell can i find some nice, non ****, v specific racing seats? i know i can go buy a universal kit and make it work but i was wondering if there is any direct V specific replacements. chime in and lemme know what you know!!!

There are no V specific seats or seat frames. Universal is all that's available. I bought some and it appears it will work. You need to drill holes in the floor however.

how bout finding some new gen V recaros.? shouldnt take much to mount em and they are as "racey" as id like to see in a caddi..plus they'll match the leather/suede combo

There was a link a while back on another member who added a 4 or 5 point harness to the stock seats - I can't find it, but maybe someone else can.

I need to that too - because I spend more effort keeping my *** in my seat than driving!

The ONLY ones worth a look are the Schroth ASM (anti submarine) 4 points. Anything else is risky. IMO.

the v1 needs proper seats tho..

this thought has crossed my mind but im not sure on the weight and thats what im tryin to fight here tryin to get some of the weight down so i can get it under the 4000 pound mark with me and fuel

this also was a thought but with our seats weighing 80lbs a piece is unacceptable haha. gotta get some of the weight out of it

i really like these seats and im considering them. buuuuuut i did find a more budget friendly set over at summit. look good, comfortable and theres a 120 lb weight difference haha

That's not very hard to do. My car is sitting at about 3700 pounds without me in it.

well damn. thats not bad at all. ive never weighed mine just goin off rumor to be told. i guess a base line would be good. but im doin everything i can to bring down the weight besides doin panels and ****. and i need a comfortable seat bc yes its still a cadillac haha

How about some Kirkey alumnum racing seats and sparco 5 point harnesses mounted to a cage with a halo bar?


whats the purpose of the car? for drag racing or autox, road course?

im def considering the kirkeys but the thing is i drive this car even after its done im still gunna road trip it. its not gunna be a trailer queen. its gunna be a drag car. ive got the harnesses figured out and everything just trying to decide on a good seat.

i do like those and i didnt mention it but they need to be reclining i would buy something just like those if not those but theres a lady that rides with me and well ive gotta kinda make her not completely hate it hahaha
