Default Trunk full of water

Looking how to remove the bumper and found water in the spare tire well. It seems to have started somewhere from the right rear. Anyone else had water issues ? I'm not sure where to start looking.

rear bezel which houses the back up lights.. I had the same problem a while back.. pulled the rear bezel and installed weather stripping along the top edge of the rear brake light. never had condensation in the back up lights nor water in the trunk..

there is a write up by Jon cts 04 something like that. he has a independent web site. great write up. i used different materials but same result

I'd do the advised method above and then drill a small drain hole or two in the base of the spare tire well.

I had a similar issue with my '04. The water came in underneath the left taillight.

There can be cracks on seam sealers
Even worse, there can be crack or not sealed part underneath rear window
( I had to take rear window out to seal it)

No need to drill. If you remove the tub, there should be a grommet under some metallic tape type of material. You can remove that. Saves you having to drill anything.

Its how I ran the wiring into the car for my cutouts.

Haha, I also went through the tub for cutouts, but I drilled a hole near the front of the tub and added my own grommet...

I pulled out all the trunk stuff and soaked down the trunk but didn't see any leaks. I did pull the two water vents at each corner and they were full of water.
Thanks for all replies.

Looks to be leaking at the seam running down the trunk line. I guess i will remove the seam sealant and replace it.

Pulled the seam sealer and ran some clear silicone along the seam. What do I need to buy to replace the old stuff to look like the right side ?

Don't laugh...but crawl in the trunk with a flash light and shut the lid. Have someone hose down the back of the car good...wheel wells too. See where it's coming in.
